I completed my survey using my teaching methods when I was in my classroom two years ago. At that time I was working in a substantially seperate classroom for social emotional students grades k-2. When I did the survery my implentation level came back as Developing.
Two areas that I need to improve on are:
1. Student Expression
For this area I can improve my skills by incorporating programs such as Biocube- a program that helps students make autobiographies, digital cameras in the classroom so students can import meaningful images into their work, and bloggers to allow students to collaborate and write expressively.
2. Student Engagement
For this area I can improve my skills by incorporating CAST Universal Design for Learning Lesson Builder which is an interactive online tool that helps educators develop or adapt lessons that increase access to learning for all students based on UDL principles.
